  8.       Spoiling all the fun for  BBC  micro owners was journalist Mike
  9.       Cook, who in an issue  of  Micro  User advised a worried reader
  10.       that a certain error  message  meant  the  machine was about to
  11.       explode. Hundreds of  BBC  owners,  all  collectively failed to
  12.       realise a joke when they  see  one,  and  one worried lady even
  13.       dunked her BBC in  a  bucket  of   water.  That would have done 
  14.       wonders for the  notoriously  slow  tape  load  system. And you 
  15.       thought console owners were stupid!!         @7
